Quick Question: how much did you sell the whole interior for ? How do you deal with all the parts you are removing ? ebay ?
It was just from this thread-a local guy popped in and bought it all except for the passenger seat/seat belt. I'm not sure what the going rate would be---I'd imagine you could part it out easier than selling it complete-definitely make more money that way. We got less than $500 for everything. We have the stock wheel's tires left for sale if anyone needs another set...

Awesome job selling all your interior. I've not been so lucky. At this rate, I'd probably take $500 for the entire lot just to have it gone.
Did you happen to weigh the heater core and A/C components?

I will Monday---we just got them out yesterday and they didn't get picked up yet---I'm betting the fan assembly/core/ducting inside is around 25lbs easy.

So the fan/heater core/AC stuff weight 19lbs---probably close to 30lbs with the engine lines/condenser etc...anyone found an AC Delete option (haven't even looked yet)? Also because your gaming chair needs a head support seat (we build some goofy stuff)!

We talk about A/C delete in this thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59950.
This post has contains what you need: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...40&postcount=9

Thanks for weighing. 20-25lbs would be very useful. I like the mods that cost little $. For now, I'm already underweight in my class so I'll be doing later once I figure out exactly how much $$$ I want to spend on relocating weight from the front to the rear.

Those are awesome! The kit's/packages look intriguing as well. I'd absolutely get nothing done if I had one of your units in the shop! Thanks for the links---so much good info on the forums. We're starting the cage today-should have some pics this week.

Before you install the wood flooring I suggest running radiant heat system works great in the winter or on those cold days where snuggling is not possible.

We're working on the roll cage boxes/lower plate area's, but in the meantime we installed some coilovers/our 3 point chromoly strut brace up front. Pretty snazzy reservoir holders!

After a week of Monterey car stuff we're back in here finally---got 4 points of Jet's cage mocked up. We build quite a few racecars but this is our first FRS cage---the roof line has a nice little pocket for a tube to sit up in and it really helps head clearance for the drivers helmet. I think maximizing the envelope of safety is one of the most important aspects of cage design---this isn't an all out racecar (at least not yet) build, just a fun track car so we're not going to get to involved with tubing/re-enforcing everything, just minimal design/something safe. Also got a steering wheel/quick release and hub installed as well as the rear stoptech brake rotors and Hawk pads-still waiting on the front BBk...

Looking very good. I messed up a bit with my down-bar positioning while trying to give my feet the maximum room.. The ends of my dash meet the very center of the down bar, so I'm unable to put the side rubber piece back. In hind sight, I would have moved the down bar slightly inwards to allow the dash pieces to fit back.

Ok-gotcha-that may help us as well. I put our roof spreader up high and had to notch the roof beam/visor area and slid the A-Pillar bar straight down the pillar and then turned down inside those dash mounts (almost cut them off), touching/pushing them out for sure...Thanks!

Do you have another pic of your front down bar. Are you connecting it to the oem dash bar?
