TRD rear bumper DIY??

I tried searching the forum and haven't found any DIY 's for the TRD rear bumper. I have seen this Japanese instruction (http://www.trdparts.jp/manual_pdf/86...8001_18002.pdf) , but it's a pain to understand. Plus a visual presentation is much more pleasing haha!
could someone please post a link because I hate starring at it in my garage !

May I ask where you got your TRD bumper?

I've done the TRD rear garnish install following the pictures and it's not too bad.

Measure twice, cut once and you'll be fine.

TRD rear bumper DIY??

Did he give you the stencil cutout? That's the shape you see on the exhaust outlet on page 4. You'll cut your OEM bumper using the stencil which allows the quad tips to fit. Otherwise, fit the lip on using the diagram and seal it using the weather stripping along the bumper.

Do you have his name or know of a good AUS contact to get the TRD kit?

Im going to install TRD rear bumper. The instruction said that OEM rear bumper need to remove first in order to cut the black part of OEM bumper (upper muffler). My question is that can I just cut that black part directly without removing OEM bumper? Thanks in advance.

The shop that installed mine did NOT remove the rear bumper when they did the cutting. Worked fine.

Got mine from Luis at Carson Toyota out in the LA area, I'm thinking it was in the $500 range with shipping, maybe less, been almsot a year ago. Most US Toyota dealers do not deal in JDM TRD parts. You might try japanparts.com.
