It's close to $40k. This also means that it's $1200 more than than BRZ Series.Blue (Aozora edition here in Canada). And since there's only 75 units coming in Canada, that's another reason why Scion will not budge on much discounts either. |

Freight and PDI cost another $2k?! Yikes. We pay $900ish for freight and $0 for PDI.

New to the club fellas but may be able to shed some light on the RS 1.0 (atleast in Canada) as I've been obsessed with it since I heard about it earlier this year.
My story is same as most of ya'll where 3 of the dealers I went to (Back in June) didnt even know about the car. I practically educated my hometown dealer (in London, ON) on the car. The Canadian MSRP on the car is indeed $32,565 and the PDI's come out to around $1800 n change. However Scion offers a Grad Rebate of $1000 if you graduated within the last 4 years! Also note, I tried to get the TRD wheels with my car and this is what the dealer emailed me: "After speaking with our part department they have given me more information’s with the rims and tires. As you are aware FRS will come with the 17” rim and if you were to change to the 18” rim then you do need tires to match the 18” rims, sensors and the factory tires will not fit in to the 18” rims. The cost of putting above said item’s you are looking around $2500 + tax." :S The cost was already pretty high so I skipped out on the TRD wheels (for now) |

So, I thought I would share some information I got from my dealer with all of you this morning. My dealer still doesn't have the vin, but he did give me some dates for when my car is to built, on the ship, and on shore in California.
Production Date: 08/23/14 Available for Shipment: 08/31/14 Vessel Departure: 09/10/14 Vessel Arrival: 09/22/14 I'm not sure if this is for all the US but, from what it looks like, I wouldn't be seeing mine until the beginning of October. This data I got from the sales manager, so for anyone who has ordered one should be able to get this information from the dealer. Though, this is here say, until the car arrives in California, you won't have the actual vin, just a temporary one. |

I wonder if it'll be possible to get TRD wheels as a free add on from certain dealers. I really like them but don't want to pay the extra. $30k is expensive as is
