Exhaust tips only?

I got the 2015 BRZ Series.Blue. I know the 2015 ones come with the bigger tips now but they are still sitting too tucked in.

Any other exhaust tips I can get? I know the Perrin ones... Do they extend farther towards the back to provide a more flush look with the bumper/diffuser?

Any other brands to look for?

My Perrin tips stick out an inch or more past the edge of the plastic. They can't be pushed on further because the tubing bends.

If you like the tips you have now go to an exhaust shop and have them weld on a small 2.5 extension on the stock muffler and it'll cause the tips to stick out more. Shouldn't be more then $50.

Hmmm... good idea, but that voids warranty for sure right?

I know tips will cost almost $200, so I guess it's about OCD

It shouldn't void your warranty, can anyone else chime in on this? If anything the axle back is held on my two bolts easy removable and replaceable. There a lot of guys who give them away on here since they pick up cat backs just swap it out prior to warranty work?

It'll void any warranty repairs on that part of the exhaust, but that's about it. If you drop a piston out of your block and they try to deny a warranty claim based on a 2.5" exhaust extension, they need to prove that the extension is what caused the engine to fail. The Magnuson-Moss act is your friend.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but the JDM/EDM BRZ/FT-86 exhaust tips are very similar to the tips that you have, but they extend farther towards the back. So, they might be exactly what you're looking for. I'll be selling my JDM tips soon and I'm willing to accept $90 shipped (48 states), if you're interested.

exactly, probably the last thing in the world to worry about

The stock tips are horrid IMO, it'd be a waste to just extend them further.

The stock 2015 ones are bigger, kinda like the JDM tips. The only problem is that it's still tucked in way too much.

You might be able to simply loosen the bolt, pull them forward, and tighten the bolt back down.
