In the past few years transitioned from trekking/hiking (100+ mi trips) into Mountaineering and found myself doing a lot of technical rock climbing close to home (that's all we have). It occupies most of my weekends and free time nowadays. My free hobby time at home is spent attempting to teach myself how to play the piano better. +1 for active lifestyles -- once I transitioned away from my old lifestyle of playing video games competitively I have enjoyed life much more. |

kudos for reviving a 2 year old thread rather than starting a new one on the same topic! for me,
videography and motion graphics, although that's more my career than hobby breakin' soccer lately i've randomly started working on my guitar skills again, which i haven't been serious about for about 20 years been studying kanji like a mad man lately i'm actually really good at drawing, but i hate doing it ....that's it here's a clip of me breakin' at cape town south africa [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9cu93IuaqE&feature=g-upl&context=G22d7ebcAUAAAAAAAAAA"]Guy gets healed of knee injury on the waterfront in Cape Town - YouTube[/ame] |

- Travel
- Football (soccer), golf, tennis, hiking, I got a bike but that's more about going out for a 15 mile ride after work for exercise than an actually hobby - Beer, seriously discovering new breweries and beers is great fun :-) - Food, discovering new restos is great fun too I'll start doing trackdays again at some time, but not for another year or two. If I ever live somewhere with a garage, I told myself I'd enroll in some night courses and learn how to do more to a car than change fluids and other basic things. I used to be really into music and going to gigs, but as I got older, I cannot be arsed to be as keen on it as I used to be.

My FRS is barely a back-burner hobby at this point.
Gunsmithing. Firearms restorations. Manufacturing. Snowboarded religiously for about twenty years. Used to do a lot of backpacking/camping. Sold all my old cars and motorbikes. I’ve turned into a total putz. :/
