I named my satin white pearl BRZ "Shiro". "Shiro" is Japanese for the color "White" and has been historically given to anime characters in one form or another (shiro, shiroe, shiroi) that are either pure hearted/innocent in an environment that would dictate the contrary or characters that are highly intelligent/skilled in a way that offsets their weaknesses in more apparent areas of prowess such as strength.

The name came to me one day when taking a corner faster than I have taken any and not only passing a car attempting to make trouble for me, but doing so with elegance and technique as opposed to raw power; I literally shouted as I exited the corner and shifted "LET'S SHIRO!" then pondered "Shiro? This car is white and nameless isn't it? Yosh!" Name has stuck since

I usually name them based on license plates. Finnish plates have always 3 random letters and 3 random numbers. My current car has letters FLF so she's Fluffy. Last one had CIL so she was Cilly. Hopefully I'm getting something good with BRZ too..

BRZ - 1 or BRZ - 86 would be awesome but I'm not going to pay 1000€ for custom plates.

She goes by the name of Sage.
Because of the color, the type of person, or the spice?

When you ride in your car, does it always feel like hump day?

I always thought the name Caldera would fit a Firestorm well - that name sounds nicely feminine to me, but a Caldera is a volcano that has formed a crater as the result of a previously explosive eruption.

GL with figuring it out . With mine, I just glanced up at her while I was cleaning the front bumper and the name came to me as I was looking at her; I thought that the name fit like skin, and since it just popped into my mind like that, I figured that it must have been her true name.
Ah I like the name Caldera! I feel like it would match the Lava color FR-Ss well too. I wish a name would just pop in my head. I actually have to put in effort for it. I was thinking of the name "Zuko," like from the Avatar series. Not sure if you've seen it or not, but he's a fire bender.

That's funny because in Korean, shiro means "don't want" or "don't like" haha

Limerick - @ 1st I was going to be lazy and name her Raven. But that would have been cheap so went with Sage just like the name.

I remember before I named my car my manager at work asked if I had named it, and when I said that I hadn't yet he suggested the name 'Amy'. When I asked him why he suggested it, he said "cuz you aim her, and that's where she goes!"

It isn't the sort of name that I would give to something, but that made me chuckle a little nonetheless.

While I have not ever referred to any of my cars by name, and have not named many of them: the 07 WRB WRX would have been named Squirt for the way it could move through traffic or from point to point, and the FR-S would be Sandy because of the subtleties to the 10 series' paint color .

My last car was Hot Wheels, but this one took me a while to come up with a name. I put in Valenti taillights and then it was obvious...Firefly.
