When I close the trunk I only touch the license plate.

There is no reason to ever touch the paint! (except during a careful wash and wax)

This thread is too funny, my wife is actually pretty good and doesn't slam, drag or touch window BUT I will say the plastics in the car scratch and scuff if breathed upon by a moth, seriously Toyota??

My wife feels like her nails have to touch the paint every time she opens the damn door. It's hell on the clear coat under the door handle. That and for some reason she can't get in the car without scuffing the door seals. Man I could tell stories about her car destroying tactics :-( Cars are a way to get somewhere for some and things to love for others.

Every time I let my wife borrow the car for her overnights at a friends house it comes back with more heal marks on the passenger side dash. Now tell me, how does she manage to do that?

I've got less than 8k on the odo. And there's only been 4 passengers in that time and they know better

I'm lucky then, my GF knows that I love this car -- she is the best =D even when her hair is like a broom!

she doesn't scratch the door sill, or pull the door close by the window -- she's so careful she barely opens the door latch.

I have to warn my co-workers because they ignore the door latch... -_-
