It's a very typical and irrelevant question from an average Joe.

This car is slower than a new Camry. It's slow. There is nothing impressive about having a fast stock car, I'd rather be a fast driver. |

The v6 camry is a fast sedan..... Why do people insist on not giving credit where credit is due?

A high 14 second quarter mile time is not fast, period. Hell, my stock 2005 Srt-4 could run 13s and it was 20k brand new. |

You forgot to add the aston martin rapide, porche panamera, mercedes CL45 amg, Cadillac CTS, CTS-V list goes on and on and on. Low 14 seconds for an affordable naturally aspirated Sedan is impressive...... Why is it so hard for people to say a Camry is fast? LOL

The car is bog slow. But most affordable handling cars are. How slow? The 6.3 to 60 time is misleading. The "street start" of 8 seconds is .8 slower than an RX-8. And a whopping 1.3 slower than a '92 Corrado. The twins have to have the slowest feeling 95 in the quarter ever.

Have you been in any of these? BMW M5, Porsche 911 Carrera, Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec II, Mercedes CLK 55 AMG, Audi S4 Avant ? Would you consider those to be fast?

"Fast" can be subjective. Just tell them the GT86/FRS/BRZ, with a simple upgrade of brakes and tires, did this at the Nurburgring Nordschleife:
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXuGhEE8t1U"]RSR RAW: Toyota GT86 - Nurburgring Nordschleife - YouTube[/ame] GT86 clocks an impressive time of 8min 27sec placing it above many more pricey/powerful cars: http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/nordschleife.html It beat: BMW M5 8:28.00 Porsche 911 Carrera 8:28.00 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabrio 8:28.00 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 8:28.00 Porsche 911 Carrera 8:28.00 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 8:28.10 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec II 8:28.10 Mercedes CLK 55 AMG 8:29.00 Audi S4 Avant 8:29.00 Audi TT-S Coupe 8:29.00 |
