With his crazy tweets since the incident, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance he takes his own life before he's apprehended and anyone collects that $10k reward.

If what she says is true (and I have little reason to believe it's not) they broke up, later he showed up at her place, forced her new dude outside, beat him up, forced her outside, had her strip in public, forced her to shower, tried to rape her (he couldn't get it up), so then kicked the living crap out of her. On a serious note, that kind of violence is never okay. There comes a point when the person is not fighting back and is just trying to get away or defend themselves. Thats the point where any further violence is just sick.

I'm not saying you should never hit a woman. Believe me, If a woman is beating my A$$ i'm gonna get my shots in too :p

She now has to deal with what happened to her mentally/psychologically for however long it takes to work through it. Hopefully she will. Sad thing about your statement above is that if he kills himself, she might even foster guilt about that too depending on the circumstances.

To me, this guy is like any other untreated mentally ill person. Whatever made him into this monster probably happened in his childhood. He's a piece of shit for not owning that his problem made him dangerous and was his to fix. Now he's gone too far and nobody is going to give him a lick of sympathy. Why should they? He acted out some fantasy of control on this girl and now will either be controlled by the penal system or be gone from this earth very soon.

If the so called justice system does what it's suposed to in this case then that should suffice god willing she does not get mishandled because of the industry she works in.

The broken bones will heal much faster than the mental anguish these situations cause. Having to relive that with every form filed and hearing attended does not make any leagal form of punishment equal in measure.

I just believe fighting fire with fire will not solve anything and it surely won't solve any social justice issues. Most domestic violence perpetrators will end up getting out of prison (if they ever went to prison) and need to be rehabilitated.

I can agree with deamano. I know from my personal experiance if my ex killed himself I wouldn't feel guilt over it. It would bring relief. Not having to look over my shoulder for that person again would bring me some peace. As well as knowing he can't ever do that to someone else.

It's because females are disproportionately treated this way compared to males for a plethora of reasons.
