Florida Keys Car Hire

Hey guys, I'll be heading to the States in October and will be spending one of the days doing the Florida Keys run. Just after some recommendations of some nice cars I could look into for the day that wouldn't break the bank TOO much.

Currently thinking of the Mustang and Camaro Convertible. Will need to seat 3 passengers.

My ex-wife lives down there. She'll probably give all three of you a ride if you ask nicely and buy her a drink.

At the same time, even.

Skip the convertibles unless you really wanna drop the top, only marginally better space than the Toyobaru and guaranteed to be a V6 automatic with zero excitement. Was in a rental Mustang 'vert yesterday and I have a Camaro for the weekend, only did it because it was the cheapest available last minute.

If I got to choose a rental car I'd go for Ford Fiesta or maybe Fiat 500, the automatic is still going to suck but they're still reportedly tossable and nimble and you will save a couple bucks on gas. Other than that just get whatever has the lowest mileage, the Mustang was beat but the Camaro only has 5k on the clock so it's still reasonably nice inside.
