Hi bobby you should tell us what phone and phone software you're using.

All three HTC One android devices I've had in a year (free replacements yay) all have a stuttering issue when I first start the car and it connects. I have to toggle my bluetooth off/on and it then connects perfectly.

Yeah it seems like a bunch of htc products don't work all that well. Mine never has a strong signal with my phone and it will only connect if I connect within the first minute of my car being started. It will play my music for a bit and then d/c, I then have to toggle my bluetooth off/on again and maybe a song later it will d/c completely and not allow me to connect again until I turn off the car and turn it back on. I can't even use the usb on my car without it registering the usb and unregistering the usb.. This stuff sucks man it's driving me crazy.
