6000k Halogen bulbs?

Since the FRS doesn't come with HID...

Will the FRS get a white light projection with 4300k-6000k Halgen bulbs in the projector housing?

Yep, but like high temp HIDs they produce less lumens because the glass gets colored.

The only thing I can see happening is a H11 to H9 "conversion."

Basically ups the wattage of the housing a bit. You have to modify the H9 bulb.

It's brighter a little whiter but bulbs go out quicker. But the bulbs are relatively cheap as well.

Lumen output is about 750+ better, but still lower than good OEM HIDs.

My wife's Prius has halogen projectors and they are pretty white and actually pretty decent stock.

But this is all dependent on if the housing on the FRS is H11 and if the H9 bulbs will even work.

I have H7 Osram Rally Halogen which use an H9 burner,
not as bright as HID but puts out a decent amount of light.
I would NOT go 6000K temp since you loose light output,
but rather if you want to go HIDs go with 5000K max (stay classy).
