The Manzo V2 is a knockoff of the invidia N1....I would keep the Manzo and get it fixed to fit. I think its cheaper in the long run.

Everyone loves their invidia V1, i love my Manzo V2.

The only way to run this exhaust on my car is with the silencers in...

With Catless UEL + Catted FrontPipe (no resonator) + EVO3 without silencers will make you want to stick drum sticks in your ears as you slam your head sideways into a wall and wish for a quick death.

I tried it with the OEM Header + Catted Frontpipe (no resonator) + EVO3 without silencers... Drone is still there, but not at the ear splitting levels it was with the catless UEL.

I am thinking of selling it since my exhaust changed, it was fine as a catback only.

Check out this awesome comparison, where the first shown is unresonated, and the second is resonated:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwhCWSwi4mo"]Perrin 3" Cat-Back Resonated/ Non-Resonated Comparison For FR-S/BRZ - YouTube[/ame]

Basically, the resonator cuts down on the raspy part of the sound.

Resonated also reduces and most often can eliminate (rasp) so unless you like booting around pissing people off and sounding like a fart can best to go resonated IMO of course...

I installed the Flowmaster today. It was a synch to put in, about 20 min. When I went out for a test drive I liked the sound until I stayed steady between 2600 to 3000 the drone was very loud and I do mean LOUD. This is normal cruising speed, 55 to 62. Going up hills or picking up a little speed made talking impossible. Called
Flowmaster and got the out to lunch voice, so we call people we know at other companies. The basic response was that most of the larger companies use "off the shelf" low restriction mufflers for their hi-performance systems, most have resonant points. When we did get in contact with Flowmaster they said the drone was normal for their systems and that is why they are called American thunder. When I asked why they were good everywhere but cruising speed, same answer. Then he suggested that I buy their resonator. when we looked at the specs There was no way it would fit our cars.
We came up with a plan B. We cut off the stock pipe at the back end of the second resonator (yes we have two) and cut off the front of the second mid pipe from Flowmaster and welded them together. About 80% improvement in the drone, no rasp, nice low tone, and nice look. I have no idea about power changes.

So the drone is intentional?

Corporate cop-out logic.

IIRC, a member on this forum had a really crappy experience with them as well.
