The unit doesn't come with a "Stock" navi app. You basicaly have to find one. There are a few options out there that have downloadable maps that don't require 3g/4g. Most of those require extra cost for the maps. I've been testing Sygic for the past few weeks and am looking at other options.

I did, the factory radio works just fine with all the speakers...no reason why the Dashlinq shouldn't..

Sygic has good maps, but they get easily outdated.

For those seeking offline navigation apps, here's Garmin víago. Australian users should try Navigator instead.

Waze is by far the best, it's free and the community aspect is amazing (reports traffic, accidents, cops, etc.). The Nav is spot on and the maps and nav work offline perfectly. If you haven't tried it, you're missing a lot.

I'll have to give Waze a try.

That's bad news.. XM is a big thing for me and without using WiFi. Are there any other good units like this that do support XM?

+1 for Waze. Make sure you dig into the settings and turn on Elvis voice guidance.

Sorry but no, android units like this just don't support it. It's not a huge issue for me because of internet radio. And I would never pay for XM, one because their sound quality is HORRIBLE, they compress music down to dog shit level, sounds like 56kbs or lower on most channels, and two, I hate those ass holes calling me and hassling me to buy from them all the time, so I enjoy saying no to them, especially when they get mad.

You could always get one of their standalone units. They usually sell them on a "special" for really cheap if you agree to 2 years or something like that.

If you use XM for music only, check out the Google Music All Access. It's pretty awesome.
