I'm gunshy. I feel like I need to do more research first or something.
Also I have a tank of 91 Safeway gas right now (don't laugh) that is already noticeably shittier than my regular Shell/Chevron. So, I want to run that out first so I don't flash w/ inferior fuel in the tank.

What's wrong with Bart? I plan to take it this Friday afternoon for Outside Lands and head home around 10pm.
I am a little paranoid about possibly having to park my car there...

re:the OFT I had to flash back to the stage 1 91 tune. Still noticeably better than stock, but oh man does it feel like something is lacking compared to E85.
on 91 it pulls like it's mildly annoyed E85 is an angry pull to redline

Hey guys, North Bay here. I have recently built a performance intake part, a skorkle or inlet tube. I'm looking for a stock AT and MT to do some testing on. Basically, we'll do some dyno runs, then fit my part along with a K&N drop in filter, and do some more tests + MAF scaling. When it's done you have a nice little increase in performance and a dyno graph to prove it. PM me.

Finally decided to take my tierods to motorsport techniques in hayward, the tierods are made by Cortex Racing in sonoma,ca they were special made and took about 3weeks before they even shipped, its made of chromoly and steel?? And they use a ball bearing style design, with multiple spacers to adjust for bumpsteer.ive waited about 2months after that to install, install was 180 including alignment, how does it feels?? It feels like that first drive u get in a brand frs, heavy wheel but effortless maneuvering, I felt less play in my turning inputs and more response, its scary at first, the smallest input makes the car steer effortless, and respond instantly, these are priced at 250?? Totally worth it lol

Aside from the unreliable trains (enjoyed being on at least 3 malfunctioning trains in a 2 month span that I had to disembark from and the resultant delays), crowded trains at rush hour, horribly nasty/dirty seats and cars, stench of homeless and/or mentally deranged people who ride it, $9 round trip cost per day to commute to work, and losing hours of your free time waiting for trains when you miss one ... It's great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Out of curiousity for those of you that live around SF, where are the decent but affordable places to live. I get that the definition of affordable varies and I would never find a house like the one I'm in here (which is nothing fancy but it's 2,200sqft with a 2 car garage, newer, good neighborhood, etc for $1,400 a month) for anything near "affordable". Is traffic to the Marina district complete shit from everywhere? Been looking at rent around that area and it's crazy...
Edit: Oh yeah, going to be in SF for VMworld in a few weeks. Will have to check to see if there are any local meets that week. Going to the Sonoma for races on the 23rd/24th weekend, have VMworld related dinners/parties on Monday/Tuesday night, leaving for Chicago (track event in a rental or borrowed car) on that following Saturday, the 30th or whatever. If anything is happening I'll try to show up.

^What he said. Living in SF is just ridiculous, which is why most of the folks that do work there live outside and commute in (via BART). If you don't mind a short (relatively speaking of course) commute, I'd recommend looking around Daly city or even the East bay. |
