ARC style shiftknob

So it seems like it's a tough time to get my hands on an ARC style shiftknob. (Ball style burnt titanium)
So far I've only come across the authentic one from japanparts.ca for over $200,
The WC Lathewerks one, which is also approaching $200 with shipping to Canada,
and the MXP one ($130+) but with no reviews and no fitment reports.

Almost all of the companies that had once stocked them, no longer do:
T1R, buyblackline, moddiction, fortune-auto, etc.

Has anybody bought this one from ebay?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-10...441a43&vxp=mtr

Does anybody know of any other options?

Our knobs need a recess to allow for the reverse lock. I believe there is a white ring that would be visible without the recess.

I just saw the shift knob on japanparts. There's 'with step' or 'without step', which would we get to work with the reverse lockout?

ARC style shiftknob

I own an ebay titanium knob just like in your link and it works fine. The threaded piece threads up into the knob and leaves a recessed area for the lockout.

Thanks for the pic! But with the adaptor, it sits way too high for my liking..

The adapter actually just covers the exposed threads from having a non recessed knob. I think they will all "sit that high" unless you have a really large Ball that would extend down over the threads. I guess what I am trying to say is the threads to attach the knob are pretty long for the stock one.

That is why most of the 86 knobs you see have a part at the bottom to cover it. A recessed one should sit lower though.

We will be doing another batch of titanium shift knobs shortly. Eta is about 1 month it looks like. Maybe a week extra.
We have had some material delays but we have not discontinued our titanium shift knob line!
