Unlike the Miata above, the FR-0S shots of the trunk lid interior show its wires are not neatly tied to the interior of the lid; big segments of wiring dangle loose and could conceivably get caught up in trunk contents and get yanked loose or stripped in vigorous driving.

Damn, I was looking forward to driving around with my trunk open so the ladies would see some awesome trunk lining. Dreams crushed, sarcasm intact.

Only if there is a body in the trunk

All you'll need is anything with sharp edges - yank go the wires.

I dont think there is much to worry about "yanking wires" what the hell do you people expect to put in this thing anyway?

no offense but these are not strong arguments. The newest corollas and camrys come with no liner and they are made to carry alot of everyday items. Even the honda accords have no liner. Believe me, these cars are quiet and the trunks are seeing plenty of use.

My father has one of these (Corolla XRS) - there are no wires dangling around like I saw in the trunk photos of the FR-S.
