I've never owned a car that wasn't a Subaru, so the choice was easy.

BRZ over FRS
My reasons...
I looked at and drove both a '14 FRS Monogram and the (now owned!) '15 BRZ Series.Blue. I thought the interior finish was superior in the BRZ, and I simply preferred the Blue Pearl over anything Scion had. My experience at the local dealers were vastly different, too - I knew more about the Scion Monogram from my internet poking than the salesman! The Subaru salesman was knowledgeable. Also swayed by the brand reputation...Subaru is well-known, Scion...not so much. And full disclosure - I thought the BRZ felt more geared towards ME...a 50-something dude, vs. the Scion geared towards a more, um, youthful adventurer. But maybe that's just me! |

Because WRB & Leather.... no not really.
Mainly because of the Series.Blue exclusivity and it saves me in a bunch of aero mods later on. |

I am going to do the paper work for my brand new BRZ Grey Limited tomorrow
![]() The reason I went with the BRZ over the FRS was for a few reasons 1. Subaru badge > Scion Badge 2. I wanted heated seats/push start and other sexy nice to have things on the limited. 3. (minor) BRZ tune over the FRS tune |

Couple reasons I picked the BRZ.
Subaru dealership had AT, Scion did not Scion salesperson told me i could run regular fuel (not very knowledgeable on the car he was trying to sell me - definite turn off) Liked the BRZ Sport Tech package better than the base only package FR-S .9% interest rate |

I got my '14 WRB BRZ because it just looks better to me. The biggest reason is that my favorite color is blue. WRB looks a lot better than ultramarine to me. Plus, in my area, I rarely see BRZs around. Alot of FRS.

The brz just looks better to me. Those headlights are just sex. Plus frs's are all over the place, but brz's are kinda rare

The headlights really got me too. Also the fact that the BRZ doesn't have that space-invadersy looking print on the dash trim peices and grill. And they are also less common in my area as well. |

The color, the sat and nav, rear wing. I don't like the "fish scale" BS around the FRS gauges, or the white stripe on the tach. Also, especially when viewed from the side, the FRS's nose bulge and triangular cutouts below the headlights look kinda crappy. But I think that cars softer front/stiffer rear springs might be more to my liking for turn-in/cornering.

I like how the BRZ front end isn't as aggressive. And also because when I hear Scion I immediately think of the Tc and xB. When I hear Subaru I immediately think of STi and rally cross... And that makes me happy
