That is exactly how I want people to feel about a tune, as if it never even existed.

Is the CARB tune you created as good as custom tunes you provide? Besides HP, is there any difference we should know?

Good question. We have a dyno chart on our website showing the difference between the CARB tune and our latest tune. Does not look like much but it does improve the mid range and top end.

Also you can ask anyone who has had both the difference in feel between the two tunes. The CARB tune is a very reliable tune but as time goes along I have continued improvements on my personal car which uses this kit.

SC is installed and flashed newest Delicious map. Everything running smoothly except when I accelerate the car doesn't let me go past 4k rpms (no matter what gear I'm in). Did I do something wrong with the tune?

Sorry about that I left the valet mode in on your tune. Send me an email and I will shut that off.

Can someone tell me. Is an oil cooler important to have with this kit stage 1? Any other supporting mods to have if someone plans to go stage 1 only with tune

If you are going to track the car, it should be on your list. Then again, if you are going to track it you should consider the innercooler as well.

Also, look into a catch can - this kit coated my intake manifold while on stage one with oil without one.

The 86 platform even in stock configuration with only a tune will over heat on the track. So it is for sure worthwhile to get an oil cooler.

Being it is a flat engine, always good to have some sort of catch can or air/oil separator setup in the vehicle also.

I daily my car win a few spirited runs here and there. No issues. But I still plan on getting an oil cooler some time in the near future just to be on the safe side if I ever do push my car to that point.

Yeah but I don't believe he had a flex fuel kit. I could be wrong though. He said it was just tuned for E85. But yeah I'll check yours this Saturday. I hear their's is a very well put together kit.

I've posted this a few times. Sprintex is tuning their car with OFT at the moment.
