GT-86 to WRc?
This looks interesting....
![]() Toyota's potential return to the World Rally Championship has taken a further step forward with the news that a GT86 WRC has been built. The car has been built by Tommi Makinen Racing in Finland with the blessing of Akio Toyoda, the president and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation. The car is believed to be running at a private test in Finland today - with more news expected on Friday. Toyoda is present in Jyvaskyla this week to meet with Makinen and WRC officials. The GT86, which is being described as a test mule, has nothing in common with the Yaris WRC that has been produced by Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Cologne. It is also independent of the GT86 CS-R3 revealed by TMG this week - and will run at next month's Rally Germany for the first time. The directive for the four-wheel drive GT86 has come from Japan and AUTOSPORT understands it is indicative of a cooling of relations between TMC and Cologne. I watch it on this channel: http://www.mavtv.com/. It's MAVTV on DirecTV Ch. 214. Live coverage of today's Finland stage is on at 1:30 PM this afternoon.
Finland is also on right now at: http://www.wrc.com/live-ticker/live_popup_stream.html ------- Here's another channel I just came across that shows WRC: MSG+ on DirecTV Ch. 635; at the moment, it's showing the two-stages-ago June 5 - 8 Italian stage. ------- This is the channel guide that WRC offers: http://www.wrc.com/en/wrc/media/tv-g...2403-80--.html I'm not sure how useful it is as it doesn't show MSG+, and when I looked for WRC on Fox Sports, all I found was a out-of-date blog. Last edited by dradernh; 08-02-2014 at 10:28 AM. Reason: Added MSG+ on DirecTV Ch. 635, and North American WRC TV Guide |

http://www.rootsports.com/ is a channel we get locally, looks like it's not common... WRC coverage has shifted around between channels over the last several years. We have Comcast (aka "Xfinity") and it's on Channel 665. "WRC" doesn't show up in any search results, but "FIA World Rally Championship" does from the description, and the program title is the generic "Auto Racing".

If i told you where it came from, I could have violated some copyright infringement.
Its a very well known racing magazine that begins with auto and ends with sport
