I plan on driving it and not keeping it on a pedestal. I can't wait to get its suspension sorted etc etc.

One other thing...I have progressed as a driver/owner since I last owned my AW-11's. I can do more things myself now with it!

It won't have the quirks the armor hmwwv have. For example, the door never closes properly, combat locks are confusing, if you smoke inside the hmwwv, the fire extinguisher will go off and kill you. The windows are meant for you to egress but you won't fit because of your combat load.

I bought a Supercharged 1989 AW-11 MR2.

This is my 3rd First Gen MR2.

The Lotus I was looking at had a VERY SKETCHY owner and set of circumstances. He could not produce a Title and demanded a "Deposit to hold it for me". His options for the "Deposit" was Paypal...as a Gift (to not pay fees...) or a Check or Cash.

Oh, he wanted the Deposit before I ever even saw the car.

On a whim, I started looking for Supercharged AW-11's. Found one about 90 minutes away for a fair price.

I will get some pictures of the car before and after I detail it.

I plan on doing a build thread too. I guess that would go into Off-Topic/Other Cars.
