Like I said, its a moot point.
I'm definitely not making up terms...and I'm surely not the first person to use the term streetability...

I've heard that term used probably longer than you've been alive.

Jaden

BTW, I love the sig... cult classic movie.

Let me guess. "Yolo" is in your vocabulary also.

The hellcat is defintely an impressive machine. But 1/4 mile times are for people who care about straight line speed and buy vehicles solely on those numbers.

The hellcat is a good car for it, not the best car for it. Even at that price range (you can buy a used c6z06 for 20 grand less).

As far as being able to drive the thing... At WOT the hellcat burns 1.5 gallons of fuel a minute.

So giving merits to a vehicle based on how fast it can travel a quarter of a mile and then speaking about being able to drive it on the street seems asinine.

I get that same issue. BMW and Genesis always ride my tail and try to race me. I don't do it cuz theres no point in going straight when rolling. So I double tap my brake lights twice as recommended in the driver manual. They usually don't listen so a nice brake check makes them run away.

While all makes and models of cars have their douche owners, I have to say BMW has the most of them.

I don't excessively speed but I'm usually 5-10mph over the speed of traffic. I don't cut anyone one off nor ride bumpers but is seems like every 335i that was minding their own business wakes up when a little coupe passes them. "Gotta prove my 300hp turbo has a faster 60-100 derh."

Is it a full moon today or something wow...

What on earth makes a truck or SUV think they have a chance in hell???

Even a ford lightning is a dog compared to the toyobaru twins...

Man this morning I had an SUV AND a toyota 4runner hit FULL douche mode...

The toyota I don't know what got up his butt.

I switched to the right lane to pass a slower moving car in front of me and he (being two cars back) pulls at and starts riding my ass. I wasn't going slow at all.

I switch back to the left lane and bam he takes off...lol...

Then farther up the freeway a little blazer starts cutting off everyone to try and get ahead of me.... crazy stuff...

Don't know if it's a full moon today or the toyobaru twins just brings out the douche in people...

Sadly as cars age they get cheaper on the used lots, when they get cheaper the frequency of douche owners increases. The twin turbo 335 has been around for a while now so we will be seeing more and more of this type of stuff I'm sure.

@Jaden: I think deep down they are jealous and that's all they can come up with at the time. "Oh yea! Well..well my 4-Runner is fast, watch this!!"

I've had the same type of douchery happen on multiple occasions, including by other Subaru owners/enthusiasts (WRX/STi).

Nope, people drive like douche bags whether there is a twin around or not.

I can't even count how many idiots I see on my daily 70 mile commute in DFW area.

for those who would get this nerdy reference... driving the Mazda 3... douche level of other drivers is about a level 40-50

when i drive the FRS... douche level is 99 + limit break

I can say I experience the same situation. They seem to disappear when I'm in both my IS300 or my Supra, but I think I know the reason for that lol.
