I must also be a n00b. I'm not a computer idiot (I work in Tech Support) but I can't see how I can easily download these. If I click on the photos in the thread, it takes me to the flicker page but the owners disabled the downloads. Where should I go?

I'd love to save them as 1600x1200 but I can't seem to get to the right page. Do I have to be on the facebook to see the wallpapers?

Apologies for the changes... I've been tweaking things here and there. Certainly wasn't expecting the homepage feature...

From post#11 above, I've offered for members to email me their requests for wallpaper/sizes. I think I'll have to limit it to one per address as a limited time offer: rob@backfromleave.com

Serious entrepreneurial question: are these photos good enough to pay to download at 1920x2000 sizes and larger (up to 4928x3280 in some cases)? 99cents for a 1920x1200? (I know, I know... lots of sites offer desktops for free. I'm active duty and take photos when I can, and when my schedule/wife/kids allow!).

To answer your question, I don't think many people would pay for wallpapers, but you may try selling prints (posters and stuff). There are many services out there that allow you to do so easily.
