GT500 Kit
Has anyone tried to GT500 kit. It's a rocket bunny replica. I'm only interested in the skirts and front lip. I know replica kits are always a problem but I was just wondering if anyone tried it out.

I have been in the market for just the lip kit too (front lip, skirts and rear diffuser). I would like to go the replica route as well so that I won't be too upset if they get damaged. Duraflex has a lot of bad rep though and I haven't been able to find any talk about the GT500. Also not sure of the fiberglass construction.
I found other rep kits made of ABS. Aiming for those but the vendors don't want to sell them without the fenders. |

Willing to bet the quality and fitment are complete crap. Buy the real stuff.
Quality fiberglass products will likely last longer than shitty ones.

If anybody would like to buy a set and post up photos on here let me know and we can work something out!
All of our duraflex parts are made of 6oz high quality fiberglass along with a plastic flex resin with makes up our duraflex products and we stand behind the fitment and quality of all parts we make and sell !

If you plan to lower your car in any way, I would definitely stay the hell away from fiberglass.
I had a front lip on my corolla it did not flex it just tears. This is from my own personal experience with duraflex etc. While yes it is my fault for bumping the lip, it did not take much at all for it to tear. Then if you want to fix your extremely expensive fiberglass you're looking at a fairly high amount at which point you might as well just buy another set. |

For visual applications, fiberglass is very easy to fix. The fact that it needs to be repainted is the issue.
