Trying to take a break and enjoy cars and driving again.
Threw this quick shootout together.

The Not So Real Supercar Shootout

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJkcrSIiquA"]Junk Supercar Shootout | Ferrari 458 vs McLaren vs Audi R8 | SE0205 - YouTube[/ame]

I am somewhat of a jaded guy, trying to enjoy life a bit more these days.
When my girlfriend's cousin asked me about what my dream car is, I said I don't have one as most are just a waste of money.

But other changes in my life made me question some of these things and I wanted to drive a few of these cars that most people consider "dreams."
The long and short of it is that I went in expecting to be blown away.
Don't get me wrong these are the pinnacle of "street" super cars.

But they are not race cars. I thought these cars would have been more hard core. But they just feel like bigger and faster versions of lower priced sports cars. (Cough Cough S2000, FRS, Miata, Vette)

If you know the track and get a chance to run these cars I'd highly recommend it as it helps put things into perspective and of course its fun too.

Is this what you used when cleaning the hubs for AP sprint install?

If not, do you have a link to a product I can use?

Love Mazdas' new design language!
Girlfriend just bought a 14' CX-5 6 speed manual. And I love driving it. And for how much bigger it is than my FR-S it only weighs 450ish pounds more which is feels insane to me!

Just watch out for the rust on them Mazdas. The 3's have had serious issues with their rear quarter panels rusting after the warranty is up.

Everyone I know who had a Mazda 3 (last gen) has had this issue. They are weary buying a new 3 because of this. Hopefully Mazda has fixed this issue - admittedly, it is very hard to go back and figure out where you went wrong on issues relating to rust from the manufacturer standpoint while being economically feasible.

They had to cheap out somewhere. The rust has been going on since Protege I am expecting it to rot with where I live. I was thinking about getting some eastwood undercoat/rust/rubberized spray to try dont know if its worth it.

The locals here pretty much point to Krown for rust protection. It is basically a much thicker WD-40 mineral oil spray that coats surfaces and keeps things protected. One downside is that they drip... so have lots of cardboard ready to line the garage/parking spot. They take years to wash off the stain "naturally".

There's much debate on what works and not, but internet "wisdom" points to the yearly oil spray as "best". The electronic stuff boat uses don't work because the car isn't submerged in water, and the thicker stuff might clog drainage holes.

*Notice how I keep using might. It's all hear-say but just somewhere for you to start I guess.*

Oh for oil sprays and other "self creeping" sprays like wax based stuff, do it when it's blazing hot, or August basically. The heat helps it spread.

Downsides: Skip the spray if you enjoy a squeeky clean engine bay, door edges etc... Some professional shops also drill a hole in the door to spray the inside panel then seal it up with a plastic plug. I know many people hate that. They also drip everywhere as I mentioned before.

http://www.krown.com/ <<< To see the sales pitch.

Or you could just find an automatic car wash that has a underbody spray jet thing and get a season pass to go weekly or something if you have such things where you live.

GL with your Mazda, the one I had needed a coil pack every 6-ish months
