Sounds good 3 ppl so far and Gunman, I think the muffler delete is the best mod if all your looking for is a nice sound. I was after a little more kick after the muffler delete and did a front and mid pipe catless and without a resonater and it was just too loud for me as a daily. But I did have fun running next to super loud diesels and bikes, kinda fended them off hahaha

Best burble from a stock header at idle straight 2.5 from op back

Muffler delete with everything else stock is sweet. Yea Ive been to C& C in cary but not many 86s show up.

I know most of the "crew"...your girlfriend must have really pissed you off, or this is a test to see if she's legit, lol

I had the j2 quad tip for a lil bit with stock everything else, and it was bit much with a cold start, but sounded wonderful down the road.

Yea, the cold start is redic loud and honestly that's the only time i'm really concerned, starting it up at 630 AM to leave for work. Driive down the road it does sound pretty amazing, especially for the price paid.

I never noticed any rasp.

Windows up or down, in a hurry to get moving or taking it slow.

It had a nice deep, slightly aggressive tone with just it. after 4k rpms its volume dramatically increases. I thought it was a more expensive exhaust than it was.

I live in a set of townhomes, with another row directly across from me; the reverberation from a cold start is what made me switch back to stock (and come find this forum). None of my neighbors said anything to me directly about the noise, but one of their kids told me that would run to the window when they heard me crank so they could watch me leave.

Welcome to the forums! They've been a ton of help figuring out little things.

Doesn't Look like anything ever materialized this weekend for getting the Winston Salem folks together.

Was talking with the wife and we are planning to head up to 13 Bones in Mt. Airy some time next weekend, via 66 of course. If anyone Is interested in joining us we can work out a time.

Hello, on the blue series, welcome.

I actually work by durham/briers creek area. Saw you posted in the biweekly raleigh meets too, you should definitely check out the meets on Thursdays. Turn out has been getting really good apparently, could be up to 9, would be nice to organize a cruise.

So how many of us here actually live in Ghettosboro? I've seen several FRS' on base, 2 red ones, 1 dark blue on silver multi spoke wheels, 2 white ones, etc. Why are we not all chilling somewhere?!?!?!!?
