This is why it's YOUR car. Because it belongs to YOU, F*** what anyone else thinks or has to say about it.

No ones gonna care unless:
1.) Your coworkers are immature teenage boys who havent hit maturity yet
2.) Elitist pricks who thinks they're better than you
3.) you have a riced out econobox with the biggest loudest weedwacker fartcan and a bodykit from the garages of a kid who doesnt know a thing about cars.
4.) They hate your guts for whatever reason.

Non-car people wont care what you drive, bosses and CEO's and such wont care what you drive, and real car enthusiasts wont care what you drive since they care what THEY drive.

Debatable. For some reason WRB doesn't give me the vibe on a smaller car. Just too many WRB WRXs over here.

^ but with that said the color of choice can reflect a bit of
the owners personality.

I am a bit older now and I expect to grow a bit OLDer with
the BRZ so I went with the more subtle/mature color
choice of DGM.

Get what you want, wouldn't worry too much about being judged by what car you drive. In ATL most people drive beaters anyway, so what's a nice sports car.

Worst case they think you're a kid, or maybe, just maybe they realize you have your shit together and are committed to what you do....supposing that you aren't gonna get that shit repo'd.

Good luck, hope you're ecstatic with your choice. I've chosen GBS and haven't turned back.

Drive what makes you feel good...in the color YOU choose. If they judge you negatively and question your prerogative to express yourself (in a tasteful way) then maybe you're working at the wrong place. Besides your "new blue car" might give you an opportunity to have a conversation with the "higher-ups". In that conversation it will be more about how you articulate your thoughts rather than what you drive.

I'm with everyone else, but this is a funny thread for me because I will be in the same situation in a couple months when I start a job at a financial firm, and I ordered WRB! I actually was wondering the same thing. I'm keeping my silver Legacy GT as a winter car, so I was thinking about driving that to work for the first few weeks until I get a feel for my co-workers. If they're cool, I'll start driving the BRZ to work. If they're not cool, I'll probably still drive the BRZ as long as I know they won't fire me over it, lol.

Why would you really care if they are cool with your car or not? Are you planning on being the office taxi? I sure we both know that your answer is going to be an emphatic, "Hell no!" Besides, the happiest, and most successful people probably do not care too much about the opinions of other people. Consider that.

As an aside: Any job that controls your life and personal decisions outside of business hours (especially at such a fundamental level!) is not a job worth having. If your co-workers give you genuine crap about your car, turn it around and make fun of their transportation choices. Is it the most mature method? Maturity level can be debated, but it is definitely effective! Nothing shuts somebody up like beating them at their own game.

Lol well that's why I said I would still drive the BRZ even if they didn't like it. I've never been one to give into peer pressure, I do my own thing. The only reason why I wouldn't DD it is if it reflects badly to clients. I'm working in the financial services industry, with all the wonderful Bernie Madoffs in the world...this industry especially has to be careful of image.
