Ignition Cut - Can the toyobaru handle it?

Hey guys so I've had a bee*r rev limiter sitting around the house for almost a year since I sold my wrx and I've been thinking of putting it into my brz now that I have gone with a catless secondary and High flow primary cat. In case any of you don't know, the bee*r rev limiter plugs into your ecu and cuts the ignition rather than fuel at the preset rpm limit. I normally wouldn't play with this kind of stuff, but instead of letting it just collect dust I would like to just have it there for fun once in a while. My only two concerns are;

1) Will the stock ecu be an issue with this
2) Can the FA20 handle the ignition cut at a higher gain setting.

I would like to add that this will be professionally installed so shotty diy workmanship should not be a variable!

Also, I'm not sure if this is truly a software thread or engine strength thread so I'm sorry mods if this is the wrong place to post!

It doesn't just plug in, you'll need to splice.
Much better to just get the ecu to do itself.

I know it's not plug and play, if I wanted to set my rev limiter at 5k to avoid over revving the engine especially in the winter (snow) would ignition cut harm the engine?

Leave the traction control/ESC on it will limit wheel spin and power on loss of traction.

The engine wont destroy itself as the ECU rev limiter will kick in before that at 7400.

got no idea have that device would interface with stock ECU, traction control/Stability control your car has will do a far better job than a rev limiter in low traction situations.
