My Perrin shift knob came in today.

Also my Perrin intake arrived at the local tuner shop, and my Perrin inlet hose should be here tomorrow so I can have both installed on Friday. #PerrinWin

I bought it.

But wait! Somethings missing! Yep, the dealer thought the aero package would be in by the time I was told to drive up to take possession but not quite. The said they would send the kit to a local dealer and pay to have them install it. All in all the dealership (Adriane Lewis at Modern Subaru in Boone, NC) was fantastic. They honored my Subaru VIP pricing so it was $28,409 plus tax, title, and license for a Series.Blue and honored my requests not to pull the shipping stickers off, wash it, or mount a front plate. Great people.

I then drove it just shy of 3hrs home from the mountains of Northwestern NC to Durham. Took the scenic route along 221 and the Blue Ridge Parkway and varied up the speed and engine load for the break in. Started at 8 miles on the odometer and today I have a bit over 200.

7/23/14
I washed it, got rid of the little gunk the shipping stickers left. Also shoehorned in two car seats in the back for the rugrats.

7/24/14
Today I debadged the back and may tinker with a few more things before the day is done.

Finally got my Rydeen Duo backup camera installed and working along with a G1W-C dash camera. I also got the wiring laid in for a rear fog/3rd brake light. Hopefully that will be finished in a couple of days.
