Anti A-Hole Button
Ok so back before I had my beloved 86, I drove a 1998 Mercedes SLK230 that I got from a relative. So this car was REALLY SLOW and as a result I would have a lot of tailgaters. But my little Mercedes had a trick up it's sleeve; there was a headlight washer button. However when you pushed it when the car was in motion, all of the washer fluid would end up on the person tailgating you! Therefore I affectionately named the button, "the Anti A-Hole Button".
Now that I have a 86, I still get tailgated. I've encountered a racist redneck in a mustang, some guy in a tC that thought he was cool, etc. Many times I wished I still had an anti a-hole button. It gave me and my buddies a good laugh. I wonder if it's possible to rig something up for the 86 (or any other car for that matter). |

I just slow wayyy down. Then speed up when they try to pass. They usually get the point after the first time.

We used to take some tubing for planter sprinklers and run it from the washer spray to the rear bumper and angle it up. Worked pretty great. Mine on my truck was hidden in the grille pointed at the sidewalk haha

I'm surprised that there was enough pressure to shoot the water out by the time it made it to the bumper! Do you think it'll be possible to do it to the 86?

My uncle hates bicycles, and when he was a teen he would rotate the right side windshield fluid nozzle to face towards the bike lane. Pull up next to a group, and "wash your windows" :P
Anyways, I support the slow down/speed up. But, slow down like a LOT. I was going 10 in a 45 (single lane) because a black mercedes was on my bumper. It was all twisty, with a lot of traffic, so not safe to pass. Needless to say - I wasn't tailgated for the rest of my trip. |

You attach the tube under the hood. Before it splits to the two sprayers. Then run it under the car to the back. Home depot should have all the connectors and parts you need.
