I find it amazing that your engine didn't ingest any water since the air intake on this car is much lower than the other cars you mentioned. And the fact that you decided to drive through that 'puddle' anyway...? You must be so proud of what you learned.

Do it right and take the seats and carpet out. At this point you should probably steam clean the carpet while it's out. Leave it in the sun to dry, wipe the floor pan down with clean towels. It's a couple of bolts and trim pieces. Not that hard.

Well if I really had any idea on how deep it was in no way would I have gone through. Out of all this I am honestly more surprised my engine didn't ingest any.

I was first and the WRX was right behind me, I think they caught my wake or they slowed down quite a bit when they saw how deep it was with me in front of them. The other two cars were after I got out and helped the WRX out. They came from the opposite direction so not much we could do to stop them
