last two cars I had -- had a special package (sun/sound) $3K extra ... but dealers never honored it.. and my insurance tried not to when my car was totaled and kept giving me a base price. luckily i saved my actual car sticker and showed them.
If I was to resell it in a few years, no, you are right. However, this is not a car I planning on reselling. I cannot see the future, but given this cars disposition towards tuning, I would really like to get a million mile badge for it...

Not sure if troll or serious, but..

the monogram is essentially the base model with 6 upgrades: HID Lights, Dual-Zone climate control (w/ rocket ship switches), BeSpoke Audio system, Push button start, heated seats, and a spoiler.

The one thing I don't like in the Scion is the lack of luxury. Between buying the Mono. and installing aftermarket tech, I think it would solve the problem.

It has the JDM headlights and heated seats. That alone is worth the markup.

Damn. I should have got a Monogram. Didn't they only come in one color last year?

That was the 10 series. Monograms came in most all colors.

Plus a couple of things the BRZL doesn't have... like kneepads and the rear center armrest. I think the one thing the Monogram is missing is the courtesy lights or lighted vanity... I forget. There's a spreadsheet around here somewhere that highlights the differences.

Yep. Lets hear it for RAVEN!

Anyways - I emailed corporate and asked for info (this is going like you think it would). This was their response:

That is, unless you live somewhere near the gates of hell (like the OP), in which case heated seats probably won't do you much good.

I meant more for the ergonomics. Compared to base model seats, they feel a lot more accommodating and comfortable.
