Exhaust: TRD vs Q300

So does anyone have experience with the TRD exhaust vs the Q300? I've been looking for a TRD one because I heard it in person and the note is a good balance of sound that I'd like, but the Q300 is much easier to find at a more affordable price. Is it quieter than the TRD, or slightly louder?

TRD probably a tad louder, but not by much. I used to have the Q300 and it was even quiet with my catless header, and catted front pipe. It's REAL quiet on a stock exhaust setup.

Buy both of them and I'll take the Q300 off your hands! The ability to swap out the axleback portion between the N1 and Q300 is easy. There's some days I love the Q300 and some days I love the N1. I need the inbetween version.

Q300 looks better IMO...not a fan of the flat bottom on the TRD

I wasn't at first, but it grew on me. I like the Q300 TI tips though

If you plan on having everything else stock (header, front/over pipes), then Q300 is really quiet, while the TRD will be only a bit louder. Otherwise, get the Q300 and change other parts of the exhaust too

Will be doing the rest, but not until sometime next year. Looking at a FT86SF UEL header and some resonated OP/FP.

Exhaust: TRD vs Q300

I think this video does the BEST job of illustrating what the TRD alone sounds like. Even I wasn't aware it sounded quite this good from outside. I'm pleased.

My friend has a Q300 on his and personally, if you want a quiet rumble, it's the way to go. It's not loud much at all, I would say a half step or so above stock. Throughout you get a decent tone but in cabin noise will be extremely minimal.

My buddy is looking to trade his sometime soon as he wants something with a little more tone.

I have the TRD and it's perfect for me, gives me the tone and the tips compliment the car better than stock.
