Had any of you have buyers remorse? Honestly, if you could do it over again would you? It just seems like there are so many twins for sell with low mileage.

I still think my car looks incredible compared to everything else. It's really the only car that I would want to buy now, in the same price range.

Ever since getting it tuned for E85 I've been happy with the power. Do I still think it could use more? Yes. But the powerband is much smoother. I think once I get an UEL, I'll be satisfied.

I was thinking this same exact thing this morning. My car was the only one in the garage, and I just smiled and felt good looking at it. Dem hips.

The only other car I'd get for sure is a WRX. But then I would be incredibly tempted for an STI if it had a FA25DIT. And that's $40k basically.

Every time I drive on a twisty road I fall in love again. There are plenty of mountains around where I live with these signs:

If I lived in a flatter area and carried passengers more often, I probably would sell my car for a WRX. I often recommend other cars over the twins, it just depends on the person.

Love/hate relationship with mine. So many upsides and downsides, I have been close to getting rid of it a couple times. I have had mine for 7 months and 12000km now.

Car doesn't need any more power when driving through canyons or cities for that matter. But when crusing on freeways, I wish I had a turbo, because basically the only racing I do is on the freeway.

My car satisifies me every day. I got the 7yr/100,000 mile warranty. Even though I can't boost it, I get to drive the car it was meant to be driven.

Bilsteins added, Michelin Pilot A/S 3 added, OZ Aleggerita wheels added.

The car is about perfect now until the warranty expires...then add a Sprintex maybe?

Well, I am very happy with my FR-S it need it more power so I got a Turbo now pushing 358whp on Methanol and 93 octane. At this price there is no other better car to buy!

No regrets. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The car is very enjoyable to drive (take it around the mountains!) and feels smooth all around. The lightweight chassis and feel of the car makes me feel like I can swing it around like a go-kart.

Not remorse but I wouldn't buy it again, i.e. if it got totaled or stolen or an emergency where I need money and was in a position to buy one shortly thereafter I wouldn't.

Very glad I did it, no regrets and no intention to sell but the magic has worn off. It is a very very good sports car, nothing more and certainly nothing less. I plan on driving the wheels off of it because there is nothing else like nailing the apex and powering out of a corner and this car delivers that thrill unlike anything else. However I'd like to try something with a little more character, I think my next car has to be either European or Wankel powered, too many Japanese and American cars growing up.

I think a lot of early adopters feel the same way, the car doesn't really give you that 'fizzy' feeling of awesome unless you've got the motor buzzing above 5,000 rpm and you're aiming for the apex balancing your throttle inputs to the limit of traction. Whereas you can put your foot through the floor in a Mustang on any freeway and get 75% of what that car is about. Tooling around town under 4k rpm the 86 feels like a cheap Toyota, I imagine that's why FI is popular and why even after >$10k worth of mods it still doesn't quite do the trick.

This car is downright scary in the twisties, but it's the biggest snore on the highway. The highway is where I spend most of my time.

I would buy this car ten times over. Like it's been said many many many times, this is a very special machine aimed at an equally specific market. There is literally nothing else like it on the road today.

IMHO, it took great courage to design such a focused platform and is so special because there is no hint of trying to be everything to everybody.

Well, ok, a little hint. Damn marketers and bean counters.

Yup, exactly, but with a roof and A/C.
