NEW!! ARK PERFORMANCE lowering springs!

Hey FT86club!

We are looking for 2 local (SOCAL) FRS / BRZ owners looking to get some lowering springs and installed at a sponsored rate.

We already have coilover systems but we wanted to offer a more affordable option to lowering your car, improving handling, and increase styling points

[EDIT] : both spots have been filled, thanks!

I believe I got the GT-S model (the lower of the two). Thanks Erick @ARK Performance ! Should lower about 1.25" all around. I'll do a review in about a week or two after it settles. After the 40 mile drive home, ride is slightly stiffer but I doubt someone like my gf would even notice. Lovin' the low so far!

Bumping just to let everyone & @ARK Performance know that I didn't forget about this. I've put ~315 miles commuting miles on the springs so far. Figured I'd wait to give you all a more in depth review after I really push them this weekend at the Grange Motor Circuit event this Saturday.

~500 miles and a little less than a month later here's my review.

Cosmetics: I'm really digging the drop. I originally wanted a 1" drop but I'm so glad I got the 1.25" drop. Feels/looks perfect HEIGHT wise imo if wheels are properly spaced. I need spacers but I plan on getting 18x9.5 rims within a few months. I've scraped it once or twice so far.

Performance: Slightly stiffer than OEM. If you know your own suspension, you'll notice bumps hit just slightly harder. I am definitely noticing/enjoying the lower COG in my few grip laps. Didn't push her hard enough though as I mostly drifted that day. I had drift wheels on so hard to tell how they truly performed. But for your daily on-ramp, it definitely felted better in terms of feeling closer to the ground. Planning to get an alignment either this Friday or next. I know, I lagged it but I wanted to wait after track. Supposedly, spring rates are supposed to be the same as Swift sports, NOT the Spec R's. Never driven one with Swifts so can't give feedback there.

As for stock shock wear...highly doubt you'll ever hear from me about it as I doubt I'd drive enough to blow them anytime soon.

Price: No idea how much Arc plans to sell them for so can't comment on bang for buck.

First pic: before springs
Second pic: immediately after springs
Third pic: how she sits now

Thank you Calvin for your honest review.

Take care of yourself and thank you for coming in with injuries.

Our springs turned out exactly how we wanted so be sure to wait for the production batch everyone!!
