This is a DIY on how to enable the rear foglight. The wiring is already in place, and it also has a dedicated relay in the fusebox. Do not hold me liable if things go wrong with your car, I'm only posting this on how we did it. As always, please disconnect your battery first before doing anything with the electrical stuff on your car. Here goes!

You can use the BRZ stalk however, Pin 2 (yellow wire) in the stalk connector is absent from the US spec cars. This wire goes to the BCU to trigger the rear fog relay and light up the rear fog indicator in the cluster. The white wire is for the front fogs; grounding this wire triggers the front fog indicators. You guys in the US will have to wire in a separate relay and figure out which pin in the BCU the yellow wire is supposed to go if you want the yellow rear fog indicator to light up in the cluster. I studied the US BRZ wiring diagram, the rear fog circuitry is completely absent
Thanks guys for the help. I'm trying to wire this up for the USDM models. Can you please provide the circuitry/wiring diagrams for your cars? I would like to try and replicate them for the USDM cars.

Thank you so much for your help and good job on finding this!

+1 for me as well! I have the EDM stalk and would like the wiring diagram to help me figure out how to wire this up to utilize the stalk for turning on the rear fog light.

Could you share where you picked this up? I would only want to do this if I could do it properly and use an OEM stalk with both fog switches.

Are there any other differences between the EDM and USDM stalk that I should be aware of?

Thx...

I ordered it through Nigel.

The EDM stalk has the front & rear fog light option, as well as the auto spot for the head lights.

Ok cool. FYI the USDM stalk for BRZ has auto headlights, too. Was worried that some other wiring wouldn't match up, but now I'm gonna do some window shopping...

I'm wondering if the wiring is there, to a point, like the front fogs. I know the fuse box isn't wired for it, but could the wiring be up to it? Just a thought.

That's what I thought as well, but the lack of a fuse to the fuse box kind of makes me thing otherwise. There is no real way to tell until you compare the 2 diagrams side by side.

Would anyone happen to know the main body ECU Part number that'll work with the EDM stalk? Also, maybe where to get it?

I just installed mine. Finally!

I looked at the fusebox where the rear fog relay is supposed to be. And it looks like the wiring is non exsisting
I ended up tapping into my front fog light wire following a DIY i found on this forum
