Good Luck selling. Im selling mine next year too but I might go to a dealer and just take the loss.

I'd need a buyer for the car lined up who is not interested in the rest of the equipment before id start listing parts separate, but I'll let you know.

Just remembered it's $10 today to run autocity speedway. it's a great place to get in a few drifts with plenty of room for mistakes and no tickets! If anyone is interested I'll post ahead of time for the next one. I missed this one totally forgot about it until I got the call asking where I was at.

Edit: for those of you worried about your car (like me) this is not a wheel to wheel event it is one car 3 laps then the next car. It's a test and tune setup.

Well, upon rereading it, it appears you're only talking about the front brake in the whole thing so part of my corrections below are unneeded.

The fronts from 04-14 bolt right up. I haven't seen any reports about the new 2015 brakes. The rears from 08-14 bolt up but the rears from the 04-07 need adapters.

The 04 STi was the only one with the 5x100 bolt pattern. In your article, you say early 04-06 but it may help a little to clarify. The rear requires 08-14 STi rotors to be custom drilled to 5x100 or buy a set that comes dual drilled.

Your price estimate is good for a set of all 4 calipers. It would run around 600-800 for fronts only.

Like I said, after rereading, i realized you're only talking about the fronts so a lot of this info isn't needed.

Spotted multiple twins over this week.

An Ultramarine FR-S driving on Grand River Ave between Drake and Halsted in Farmington Hills on Tuesday.

A white FR-S on I-96W towards Telegraph and then went onto Grand River Ave spotted yesterday. Was being driven by a chick.

A Black FR-S/BRZ with red wheels which looks amazing!! It looked like Darth Maul. Spotted in front of my apartment community on Grand River ave in Farmington Hills.

While buying my car Glassman Subaru quoted me 870$ for this maintenance plan (36 months/38k miles).

I see a lot of people doing their first oil change at 7500. I was wondering when you guys did your first oil changes and what intervals you follow and if there's a particular reason behind it. I'm at 3750 right now and wanted to get more information about the process.

Also, wanted to know if you guys think the 870$ for the list of maintenance procedures listed would be worth it. Note that the 45k mile service is not included.

Everyone wants to do theirs as early as 1000 miles just to get rid of the break-in oil. I did mine 1500 at the dealer since it was complimentary. Im going to be following the manufacturers spec from now on and do my own oil change. Next one is 7500. Im in 5700 right now.

Im not sure about the 36 months thing. I am going to be doing most minor maintenance so I dont care what they offer me.

NO!!!

You're getting what..? 6 oil changes, 5 tire rotations, a couple air filters, a brake fluid flush and a clutch fluid flush? That's worth maybe $300 max.

Get familiar with your car and do your own maintenance.

Synthetic motor oil at 1000 miles and then every 5k to 7k afterwards.
Change your rear diff oil at 5k to 10k miles.

easy stuff..

nothing difficult until you hit 60k and have to do spark plugs? I think that's at 60k.

So how many folks are planning to go to BW3's on Sunday? Since I probably live the closest I may end up being the first there and would like to know what size table to get.

okay. Don't we have to have the 15k and 30k inspections done by the stealership in order to keep the warranty? And how do I record the maintenance done in order to keep my warranty valid?
Forgive me for the excessive questions, I am a noob and this is my first car bought with warranty/from the stealership.
