They're pretty dope. It's amazing that they glow like that without any power source, or chemical reaction, or luminous charging. Tritium has a half life of about 10 years. So after that amount of time they'll glow about half as bright. In full darkness, with your eyes adjusted to the dark, they put out just enough light to read by.

I think I'm going to take one off my keys and hang it from my rear view mirror.

only if you want to buy via cpf (i hate that place for their overzealous anti-automotive modifications rules..). he sells them on ebay as well i believe.. there's really plenty of places to get them from, in all sorts of variations of encapsulates(colored plastic pellet, clear plastic pellet, titanium, etc)...
