I have got to get you reading. I've mentined a couple times in this thread, one of the other reasons they could give me so much was becuause of the mods. He gave the last person with lower mileage $18k for their car on trade in for a BRZ. I wouldn't have gotten $3k (it really was mostly wheels and tail lights as far as "big money items" )for the mods if I pulled them off and it would have taken me time I didn't have. There were lots of factors in play here. I got lucky, no two ways about it.

I did read that part. But are you ever going to know if that was a true story or just a way to get your business at the dealership? Side question, did you look at Foresters by any chance? I feel those two overlap a bit.

No idea to be honest. Doesn't matter to me. I'm not paying them interest and I turned down all their maintenance packages. After the two years are up of "free maintenance" I'll be doing it by myself. No matter what their motivation, I got a pretty sick deal. I can't believe they are taking a hit on the FRS, though.

I did look at foresters, but this was not my call. It really is the wife's car. I got her what SHE wanted and just stayed out of it. I just said practical and 4 door….she picked the outback.

All worked out in the end…well sort of…I'm still driving a civic

Nope if it was I would have kept the FRS. It has a HUGE back seat and trunk, but still a two door
