Meh, the Lexus is still a direct copy of Audi's design, though it does look like it belongs there, unlike the IS and some Mercedes I've seen. Like the Lambo door thing, (so played out even Lambos don't have them) Audi is switching to the solid strip LED lighting now (like BMW halo eyes, just different shape), with individual LED headlights.

I'm glad Subaru did their lighting the way they did; it looks really good!

Yeah.. I like the Pre-LED Lexus IS headlights.

In fact, I am not a fan of any of the LED strips (including Audi).

IMHO, the BRZ headlight looks excellent. I love the dark background especially, compared to the overly chrome plastic look of many other lights (FRS included)

Can someone verify the truth of this?? Cuz theres no word about it on scion.com...Also doesnt Subaru have that warranty thing where they come and sAve you if you're stranded (kinda like AAA)?

Two years of free maintenance most likely means two oil changes and two tire rotations; it's hardly a selling point. Even if the FR-S calls for oil changes every 5000 miles or six months, that will still only be four free oil changes and tire rotations. Subaru's warranty covers brake pads, wiper blades, and more for the first three years or 36k miles.

There's also the fact that insurance costs might be different between them. I know that I'll be saving almost $800 a year (once I move for my new job) by switching from my tC to a BRZ. It's hard to believe, but true.

2 Year/25K maintenance is the first line item on the standard features list for the FR-S (Scion Boost). and I believe is included in all Scions right now.

As said ^above^ though, it probably isn't a significant amount of money, but it is some cost savings as long as you are willing to go to the dealer for these services.

CCFL? Never heard of that being used on a car but maybe I've just been living in a cave... Does anyone know for sure what that light strip actually is?

IMO the LED light strip right under the main headlamp assembly looks kickass.

Yuppo. Every TC I see listed on autotrader/craigslist is salvaged. All the ones that I've seen at mom and pop used car dealerships is salvaged. The one my friend bought for her sister from one of those dealerships: salvaged.

I wonder if my insurance rates will yield savings as well when switching from a Lude to BRZ. For sure it would jump if I get the FRS though, because Scion is a Scion.
