That is too easy a goal. I would make it a goal to put in 10 straight laps within a tenth or two to show consistency.

Finally bought it. RaceChrono won't do data overlays on top of recorded video and it didn't have AMP in the track library.

Looking forward to trying it out on Friday.

I make my own track file for every track I go to. I have a file for almost every track in the Southeast now. I set the Start/Finish line and a couple split lines. It is easy to do on my Windows Mobile phone. I need to plug it into my PC and try to upload them to RaceChrono.

You'll love it! Are you planning on using your phone or like a nexus?

I'm going to use my Nexus 5 with a windshield mount. I'm not sure if it can do this but ideally I'd like to take the telemetry out separately and overlay that on top of my gopro footage, which will be a better perspective and have audio from an external mic in the trunk.

Just dropped in fresh CL RC6 race pads and bled the calipers a second time.

I love how easy pad swaps are with this caliper.

Coil #3 failure at AMP first lap out and each one after clearing P0353. Sad day. Two new coils on the way.

That's pretty sweet how they label them! "RCE-BRZF" or "RCE-BRZR". Seems well thought out.

It's past time for a parts manufacturer to release some decent high performance coils with heat sinks on them.

Whats bullshit is the car ran fine and continues to run fine, no misfires or anything wrong. It didn't throw the CEL yesterday when I was beating on it when bedding in the race pads, and it threw it almost immediately on my first lap of my first session on a cool, overcast morning under very light load. Came in, cleared it, went out again and the CEL persisted. I'm not going to risk tracking the car with a CEL knowing other shit could compound as a result and really ruin my day, so I parked it and got home fine. FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That sucks that it ruined your track day. Is the coil something you could have spares of and swap out trackside as necessary?

Yes I should have bought spares the first time this happened but I'm cheap and didnt want to spend $91 per coil at the time. I could replace the passengers side (#1 and #3) track side pretty easily once the motor cooled off. Takes patience and dexterity but it's not difficult. Driver's side coils have a lot more shit in the way and they would be more difficult to replace.
