I machined a spacer that seems to be doing the trick tomorrow im getting a tune from Delicious Tuning. I just was wondering how many washers did you end up using to correct the BOV

I have an 11psi spring in mine now and it gets some surge at low rpm/low boost. With anything less than the 11psi spring the bov stays open at idle. I may try to shim mine or go with the softer spring and a few washers.

It is a real popular technique with the WRX/STI guys even though most use the OEM draw thru MAF so this shouldn't be an issue. I think they like going with a 10 psi and washers normally. I really wouldn't worry about some surge and low rpm/low boost.

I agree with you. Low rpm/boost it should be fine. I figure I would play with the bov and see what I may like better.
