I would but the damn app doesn't let me tag them properly

Just did a preorder for the UEL headers... Will contribute a sound clip as soon as it goes into the car!

just like any other catless header, yes. O2 spacer or tune will be required to get rid of CEL.

Yes spacers help.... BUT anyone who is installing an aftermarket header should be getting a tune anyways to get the actual benefits of the header to begin with and that will obviously not only get you the gains but avoid Cel and issues as well.

Stock collector 2.02", Tomei collector 2.38", JDL collector 2.5"

So you think I'll get more low/mid end torque with Tomei vs JDL but sacrifice some top-end power?

Interesting. Wonder why they went this route and not like JDL, Ft86speedfactory, and the rest?

Tomei UEL header+overpipe

Ordered the UEL header + Overpipe and an 02 spacer to fix the CEL for the time being. I already have resonated front pipe(catless) and catback.

I will take a video of the before and after both cold and warm for comparison.

I'm assuming they wanted to make a complete exhaust system for NA:
Tomei header+OP+FP+60R are all 2.38" which is full race exhaust without any cats, resonators or mufflers

The smaller piping diameter has been shown to perform better at the lower end of the powerband and in the infamous torque dip. Even without a properly designed collector, the Borla uel which has smaller piping diameter as well, outperforms the JDL uel in the dip. Though, the JDL has shown better gains up top. IMO, the smaller piping provides power that is more useful and much needed on this platform. Which is one of the reasons why I chose to preorder the Tomei uel and over pipe rather than the JDL pieces

The delivery of the UEL needs to come faster so that the people who ordered the UEL's can make a sound clip comparison! I'll order mine as soon as a third party review is posted!!!
