Aparently this guy is a big Formula D fan and thinks you need 1200 hp to drift. Most drift techniques don't even require the throttle untill "after" the car starts to slide.

Thank you. You dont need an ebrake or throttle to drift a car.

The hype took it off to be considered and "out of the box drifter" probably. Though, cars are not realistically designed to drift and be beaten in that manner right from the get go. Similar to the Nissan S chasis'. Power to weight ratio, FR layout, close 50/50 weight distribution, the right size wheelbase...all great things to get started. But a bone stock 240 sucks for drifting period...even more when compared to a built chasis.

This car definitely isnt a drift-ready car straight from the dealer. But with a few minor bolt ons, it would be killer-which is why there are already cars competing in D1 and FD.

...I am with a lot of people on this thread. I feel like I've read nearly 8 pages of ignorant, fanboy comments. Self-education never hurts. Make sure to use the right sources to educate yourselfs. Not wikipedia, random cholos on youtube playing the "tokyo drift" song to their mad tyte jdm yo video as well

Maybe consider self education in your writing skills?

Yeah, well that's because it's gone from 300hp 240SX's and 200hp AE86's to no less than 600hp in every factory-backed Formula D car out there. Take Daigo Saito's 1200hp Soarer. Twelve-hundred flipping horsepower in a drift car!!! Hence why I could give a $#!t less about watching pro drifting and pay more attention to the grassroots stuff. This car will get sideways, if you know what you're doing. Keep it safe, and keep it off the streets!

All you need is a little rain / water on the road and you can drift anything.
