Vehicle Order Number. It should be on the top of the Sold Order printout from when they placed your order on Subarunet.

Hey, but where does that speculation come from? Aren't the facts that dealer's allotment will be delivered evenly over the months of May/June - November?

Those are the facts.

I sent SOA an email that asked, "Is the following information accurate?
"Each dealer has been given a fixed number of BRZs over the next 7 months (May-Nov 2012) which will be spread out so they don't all arrive at one time. The number of cars is based on the dealer's 2011 WRX/STI sales and overall volume. Extra orders in addition to the allotted number of cars may or may not get filled. The monthly total for the entire country is expected to be 540 cars and there are over 600 dealers so not all dealers will get a car each month. There is no VIP program available on the BRZ. from Subaru of America "It is important dealers fully understand the order filling process as you submit your sold orders. In summary, allocations for the 7 months May-November have been developed for each dealer. Fulfillment of a dealers allocation quantity will be spread basically pro-rata over the 7-month period and will not accelerate based on the number of sold orders submitted nor will it be reduced based on the number of sold orders other dealers submit. The most important factor is for individual dealers to ensure their sold orders are submitted in the order with which they want them filled. SOA will look to fill the oldest sold order within a dealer's allocation from the pool of cars available irrespective of when that order came in versus any other dealer's order."

SOA answered, "That is the information that was provided by us to Subaru dealerships through our internal communications. The information is accurate."

Thanks for sharing. It seems very logical.

Placed my order 4/13. A little concerned because an above poster indicated they were 15/15 from this dealership, but they also told me I was 15/15. Perhaps someone cancelled and opened a spot. They also indicated I would have the car in 60 days, but I don't think that's very likely.

I don't have a "sold order" like what I got from Capitol, but they gave me a purchase agreement. They didn't 100% guarentee MSRP, but did take note that I was more or less guarenteed MSRP from Capitol.

Swing by Georgetown Subaru in Norwalk, CT after work today. They told me they have about 20+ allocated. Trying to put a deposit down for one, but dealership would not guarantee MSRP and also there was a $297 dealer processing fee on top of that. I didn't bother putting a deposit down and just walk.
