at start up, its raspy. but when the cold start is done, no more rasp. when you throttle, there is a little rasp to it. but not crazy, im running tsudo header, stock overpipe, stock front pipe, tsudo catback. u do get that boxer sound with the UEL, since im not running a N1 type canister muffler, its not that loud.

i'll be selling this setup soon as i got my hands on HKS headerback protype.

I had a tsudo on my accord and the flex pipe was destroyed after 1 year. Check it often if you live it areas that salt the road.

That's one of my main concerns, then the welds. I live in NJ and last year they laid down a TON of salt.

Did your header come with 2 overpipe gaskets? One is sized smaller than the other. I just installed and used the larger one but I think i might have a leak there. Which gasket did you use with the stock overpipe?

That raspy sound appears to be coming from the front of the car. I swear I don't hear it in the tailpipe. I'm thinking its a leak at the header to overpipe connection. The bigger gasket seemed too big for the stock overpipe, and the smaller one was too small for the header flange.
Think I might get an overpipe from JonMotoring.

Your opinion on the raspiness coming from around the header?

ordered from speed element (semotors.com) for 400 shipped. Arrived pretty quickly (3 days). Can't complain about that. Unfortunately, I'm at work and cannot weigh the piece, but the box says it was 13 lbs (that's the box, the bubble wrap, the gaskets/mounting hardware and header). So not too shabby.

and some pics.
Thank You for this. Nice pics. It almost reminds me of Borla, but slightly better and rounded edges. The collector is decent, but you truly get what you pay for. Were you ever able to get a pic of the total weight (itself)? I'm picky in that category lol

Also, site says lifetime warranty which is excellent. Do you get some form of certificate with your name, or is it just keep your receipt as the only owner type deal?

^ This. this is good to know since this will be similar to what i plan with the Exception of the Front Pipe:

Tsudo Header - Invidia OP - Invidia Catless/ Resonated FP - Axleback.

I'm hoping that would help with the "loud as fck in general"...? I dont mind loud...as long as its that Deep/ Bassy sound. Would you be able to post vid/ clips as well?

i installed mine a few days ago. i have the stock overpipe, and stock front pipe. perrin 3" non-resonated catback. startup is pretty loud, but not really raspy.

as for driving, it's got the rumble throughout the powerband; however, above 50% throttle or so, there's like this metallic rattle/rasp sound. it's pretty annoying and sounds like shit in my opinion. i'm hoping adding a resonator to my midpipe will resolve it. going WOT is pretty ridiculous.

I wonder if you have some contact with the exhaust and chassis?
