makes sense.. i painted mine and used some clear coat by krylon ( worst clear coat ever IMO ).. its brown now LOL. but i had already planned on ordering all the black peices.

Yes there are 8 (or something like that) little clips and a small strip of double sided tape to the rear. Just give it a good yank straight out and they come out easy. I've taken mine out soooo many times.

No tools! Put your fingers around the arc and pull directly out. The tape will peel/break first, then the little push pins will release. Work your way from the rear to the front. There are little rubber-ish washers on the push pins. They may stay attached to the car. They may stay on the pin. They really don't matter so don't worry about them.
