EcuTek Custom Map Not Working
Hi all,
Just been playing around with custom maps trying to setup an overboost fuel cut. Doing some experiments, I noticed that no matter what I did, my Custom Map M result was always 0. As if the custom map was not on. Here are my map settings: Here are the results: I have tried several different methods of getting this to work, but it seems as though Map M is always inactive. What am I doing wrong? Cheers |

Hi,
Not sure what you are attempting but looking at your logs it looks as though you are just setting a specific value based on RPM only. This will not affect anything in the vehicle (according to your output), as it will only show a value on your custom map M. I would log custom map M to see if the values you are expecting to see line up with your table. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

That's right. For testing purposes I am only expecting to get a reading from Custom Map M Result. However, as you can see from the logs, Map M result is constant at 0, where for example, I expect to see a value of 2 at 2200rpm. Any idea why I'm not seeing this? Thanks a lot for the help. :-) |

Understand. Since you are using it for calculations only you should actually be looking at Custom Map M Interim. Since a calculation is usually not a result but used in another formula to get a result. Make sense?

However, I'm pretty sure the Interim is also always 0. Before I make an idiot out of myself, let me just go double check quickly. |
