Can we get pictures of the inside, please? like how it looks in the rearview mirror, and just regular backward visibility turning your head?
Any difficulty with visibility? |

Sorry for the delayed response everyone. I was busy for the 4th and tapatalk wasn't notifying me about this thread. I'll answer all questions with mentions:
@aero.kit @post_break Yes I bought them from japanparts.com. https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/44579 They have redesigned their website since I made the purchase, but it was pretty darn easy to do. @monkeyslide17 There is no purpose, though they do seem to keep my car cooler. This makes sense since they allow no direct vertical light in. I bought them because I had a hard-on for them, nothing else. @j2digit The package took approximately a week to reach me, which blew me away. I had heard these were on backorder so I expected to wait a month. I'm not sure this experience is common. The packaging itself was fine. Bubble wrap around the louvers, a bag of all the hardware and paper taped to it. Nothing amazing but definitely good enough to keep it all safe. The quality of the materials is such that I do not expect much in the way of plastic fade. There are treatments that can be applied to pieces like this to prevent that, and worst case I could spray paint them black again if they fade. @OnionTou @BolognaWalrus @Nackers Visibility is safe. I don't even notice them anymore. I will be washing the car tomorrow and will take pictures of the removal and cleaning process. I will also take some pictures from inside the car so you guys can see the difference.

No doubt that has something to do with it. But moreso my lack of patience and my "man attitude" about following instructions. And if you think I'm upfront and awesome about mistakes here check out my spoiler install thread... Oh myyy

Love the louver! What kind of wheels are those? I like how they sort of look like the stock wheels.

Great writeup!
I have a BRZ so the only thing holding me back is the TRD logo. Is it just a sticker, or is it molded into the plastic?

make sure you remove the JDM clear film from the TRD logo and it will look even better!

Yes @kanundrum and I found that out. We were detailing my car and noticed that it was very hard to get rain spots out of the louvers... Not a deal breaker as they're only visible when they get wet again, but I'm open to suggestions on how to clean this kind of plastic. Even denatured alcohol wouldn't get rid of the spots completely.
The TRD logo is indeed moulded into the plastic. Sorry. It looks really good to those of us who like having TRD on our car though!
