Okay so im in need of a little help and figured this is the best place to get information
So i really love the xxr 527 hyper silver 18x9.75 + 20 and i've done research that its extremely aggressive fit but i want it because of the concave look it has compared to the 8.75 also i like how if you do fit it and camber it, it fits really nice. I've realized that it'll take some work to get it the way i want. Also realizing that i'll have to stretch 225/40 tires on them. But i have looked at the 18x8.75 and i do think it would make my life easier but i feel like they don't look as good. Also im planning on taking this car out to drift events but i'll most like swap out the wheels with my other ones just to burn the rubber. Basically im asking if i should take the risk to get these rims and fit them or just go less wide and use those?

I looked at your build real quick and considering you are just running sportlines, the 9.75s are going to look like crap with that setup. You could make the rear fit pretty decent with a LCA, but the its going to be near impossible in the front without adjustable tophats and probably slotted fittings.

If you get the coilovers you are planning on getting and drop the car another .5 to 1 inch from the sportlines and get the camber adjusted, the car will look quite sick with that setup. But it will also handle like crap with those skinny stretched tires and that much camber....

I was planning on getting the coils before that and i was planning on cambering it to fit just right so it looks clean

my friend got 9.75's and I got 8.75. If you like the poke up front and cambered then go with the 9.75, but like you said, it will be somewhat more costly/time consuming to fit. With my 8.75's all I have are ST coils, Front crash bolts, alignment and things sit fine with no rubbing/hassle. Whereas the 9.75's you'll need coils w/ camber plates, LCA's, etc..

Looks perfect with your setup. I almost went 19x8.75 square, but chickened out and did 18x7.5 square because of weight and lack of HP. What size spacers you using on the front to get flush with the fender?

I think it looks great! I wanted 19's but the +20 offset scared me away. Looks great with the Rocket Bunny though!

Does anyone have the Wasabi 527 wheel color yet? I think it would be too flashy to actually own myself but I am curious how it would actually look on the street.
